This is Dalian Wanda’s first luxury hotel development outside China. The scheme will comprise 1.13m sq ft of residential, office, retail and hotel space. We knew that like Ballymore’s Embassy Gardens, Dalian would ensure their first Central London product would be exceptional. We had several clients looking for investment opportunities. They agreed to team up and with their combined capital, we were able to convince the agent to sell us a number of units on upper floors prior to their release. Furthermore, with the Stamp Duty Land Tax changes in December 2014, we pushed through a same day exchange, saving our clients a considerable increase in cost.
